Medicinal use: Pathodea is a monotypic genus of phanerogams belonging to the Bignoniaceae family. Made of soft wood, used for bird nests. The flower bud is blistered and contains water. The sap sometimes stains fingers and clothing yellow. The open flowers are cup-shaped and store rain and dew water, making them attractive to many species of birds.
