Origin: Mediterranean and Arabian peninsula

Medicinal use: Jagged lavender has always been used to repel mosquitoes, but in addition, its essential oil soothes and reduces inflammation from bites. Daily applications of essential oil have been proven to kill fungus in several months. It is cultivated as an ornamental plant or to obtain perfume. In Murcia it is used in popular medicine to cure stomach and kidney ailments.
